La idea de celebrar el D\u00eda del Programador<\/strong> surgi\u00f3 en 2002, cuando Valentin Balt<\/strong>, un joven ruso que trabajaba para la compa\u00f1\u00eda de dise\u00f1o web Parallel Technologies<\/strong>, propuso la fecha al Ministerio de Comunicaciones de su pa\u00eds. Balt eligi\u00f3 el 12 de septiembre<\/strong> porque el n\u00famero 256<\/strong> es significativo en el mundo de la programaci\u00f3n: es la cantidad m\u00e1xima de valores que se pueden representar con 8 bits<\/strong> y la mayor potencia de 2<\/strong> que puede expresarse dentro de un a\u00f1o de 365 d\u00edas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El 11 de septiembre de 2009<\/strong>, el Presidente de Rusia, Dmitri Medv\u00e9dev<\/strong>, aprob\u00f3 oficialmente la fecha como el D\u00eda del Programador, y desde entonces, muchos otros pa\u00edses se han unido a esta conmemoraci\u00f3n, rindiendo homenaje a quienes est\u00e1n detr\u00e1s de la tecnolog\u00eda que impulsa la vida moderna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
